Children's Ministry
J.A.M.
Every Sunday during the 11:00 worship service, children ages four through the second grade experience fantastic, interactive worship during what we call “JAM” (Jesus and Me). During JAM, children learn about God through puppets, up-tempo music, choreography, Bible lessons, Scripture memorization and crafts.
At the conclusion of each children’s church session, children receive activity pages to take home so that you can continue to reinforce those lessons with your child and help them incorporate what they have learned.
All children ages four through second grade attend the first part ofworship with their parents or guardian. An announcement is made duringthe service dismissing children for children’s church.
AWANA
Every Wednesday night (excluding summers), from 6:30—8:00 pm, our children participate in an AWANA Bible club. AWANAstands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed"
"FUN!!!" That's how most boys and girls describe AWANA Club meetings. But to parents, the meetings are much more.
AWANA meetings are filled with life-enriching experiences for our young people. We provide consistent positive teaching each week -- combined with games, scripture memorization, refreshments, and most of all a time to learn about the reality of God, the truth of the Bible, and respect for our nation's freedoms.
AWANA Club meetings are carefully organized according to ages and school grades to provide maximum interest and activity for everyone:
Ages 3 & 4 - Cubbies (coed)
Grades K, 1, 2 - Sparks (coed)
Grades 3 & 4 - Chums (girls), Pals (boys)
Grades 5 & 6 - Guards (girls), Pioneers (boys)
AWANA clubs meet every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
GA’s/RA’s/Mission Friends
On Sunday nights (excluding summers), children learn about missionaries and how they can be a part. These groups meet during the Sunday evening service time.
